Ingredients

  • 2 packs of gnocchi
  • Pack of fresh kale (can substitute frozen spinach)
  • Frozen peas
  • Tub of crème fraîche/sour cream
  • Shredded cheddar cheese (sharp)
  • Shredded parmesan

Method

Turn on oven, 400F/200C.

Bring a pot of water to the boil.

Cut the kale to remove the thick stalks, trim around it to get the leaves and then shred.

When boiling, put gnocchi in. When there’s 2-3 mins left to go, add the kale (or spinach) and frozen peas.

Wait until they’re all cooked, drain into a collander.

Put back into pan, add a load of garlic salt, pepper, sour cream and some cheddar (not too much). Mix it all up to be thick and gooey.

Place this into an oven-ready dish, sprinkle over more cheddar and the parmesan.

Put into the oven, but switch it over to grill on high (it should be hot in there to make the whole thing bind, but you want the grill to melt the cheese on top).

Eat!
