Char sui ribs
One of the first things we cooked in the instant pot that was a huge success. Lovely ribs that fall off the bone in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- Baby back ribs (1 lb)
- Char sui sauce
Method
Cut the ribs into individual ribs if not already. Rub char sui sauce over them on all sides, massaging in. Leave to marinade for at least 3 hours.
Place the trivet in the instant pot. Start stacking the ribs like jenga blocks, leaving gaps between them. Pour a cup of broth or water into the base of the instant pot. Cook on high pressure for 30 minutes and rapid release.
Place the ribs on a baking sheet and cover with some more sauce. Broil on high for 10 minutes to crisp them up.
Serve with fried rice!
